The Vos Pad's main lighting system incorporates Luxeon® LED light units provided by ACDC Lighting. These components are available as star, ring flood and line fittings, or as emitter units to be incorporated into light fittings - as in the Vos Pad.

The Luxeon offers the following benefits:

• Flexible Design - Luxeon units plug right into the fixtures - no sockets needed.
  
• Energy Efficient - Can save up to 90% energy in certain applications (over incandescent)
  
• Smaller Light Point - More flux per area than most technologies, and the small light point makes optical lense design much easier and more flexible.
  
• Vivid, Saturated Colors - Luxeon emits colors directly, rather than filtering of white light. This mean deep rich colors and less waste of light.
  
• Ease of Use - longer lifespan and greater reliabililty
  
• Environmentally Friendly - Greater energy efficiency, no mercury, and fewer replacements during the installation lifecycle.
  
• Lower Heat - can be placed where heat would otherwise be a problem e.g. next to flammable or delicate materials, or in areas where direct human contact will occur.
  
• Digital light - responds instantly to control commands from electronic and automated systems, making them ideal for lighting effectgs, displa and safety applications.
  
• No UV - Luxeon light won't degrade artwork, produce, or other objects spotlighted, as other technologies do.
